PERS Coordinator

Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) Coordinator is responsible for daily operations of the PERS and various other duties. The PERS Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Care Coordinator Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the daily operations of the PERS program.
2. Respond to referrals and answer PERS program questions.
3. Contact all PERS clients to test units monthly and document in web based systems.
4. Order and maintain adequate and accurate inventory of PERS units. Test new PERS units before releasing into inventory.
5. Coordinate installation and removal of units. Physically install and remove within Craighead County.
6. Respond to service/incident reports from provider.
7. Update and enter PERS information in web based systems.
8. Assist Finance with PERS monthly billing.
9. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Additional Information

$14.13 per hour

Office Location- Jonesboro

Company car provided during business hours

This is a safety sensitive position

Basic Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
Basic: 10-Key, Word Processing/Typing
Proficient: Microsoft Office, Database, Web-Based Systems
