Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Manages grant and contract compliance, monitoring and reporting; including management of the client database software. Performs a variety of administrative functions related to preparing reports, maintaining schedules, meeting deadlines and working with auditors. The Grants Manager provides support for the Agency’s fiscal operations under the supervision of Director of Finance.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare or assist program directors in preparation of all program budgets for the Area Plan and all
other interim program budgets. This duty is performed monthly.

2. Responsible for fiscal compliance with federal and state regulations, grants and contracts. Prepare or
supervise the preparation of financial reports and requests for all programs administered by the agency.
This duty is performed daily.

3. Responsible for the maintenance and utilization of the client database software, including reporting. This duty is performed daily.

4. Responsible for participating in the statewide Users Group. This duty is performed quarterly.

5. Responsible for review and recording of subcontract budgets and for processing of monthly billing. This duty is performed monthly.

6. Prepares close out of grants and programs, at the end of the grant and the end of the fiscal year. Prepares required reports and assists with program audits, such as IPERIA. This duty is performed monthly.

7. Responsible for maintenance of contractor vehicle titles, licenses, leases, liens and other related processes.

8. Responsible for executing automated accounting functions, as needed.

9. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

$3961 monthly, Office location Jonesboro, This is a Safety Sensitive position.

Basic Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as non-profit and advanced accounting, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to four years of college, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 5 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
Advanced: Proficiency in Excel, 10-Key, Accounting, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Contract Management, Word Processing/Typing
Intermediate: Database
Basic: Other, Payroll Systems
